Linen gets better with each wash, is twice as durable as cotton and has high air permeability and heat conductivity properties – that means, it is a breathable fabric – that keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Linen can also absorb as much as 20% of its weight in moisture before feeling wet… thus, always having that fresh feeling when slept on, which is especially great on those balmy summer nights.
Because of its unique filtering, bacteria resistant, ventilating, moisture absorbing and evaporating capabilities, linen bed sheets are known as anti-allergic, recommended for people with allergies & sensitive skin. Its also an anti-static and can even help soften and preserve the skin due to its natural pH balance (hello anti-ageing bedding!).
Linen is also environmentally friendly, a renewable resource that needs no irrigation and is also fully biodegradable.
Please note: Shade variation occurs between dye lots and is inherent in the dyeing process. The variance can vary up to ten percent or so. Bedouin Societe linen is pre-washed giving a pre-loved look and feel.
